Childs Play Side By Side aka Sid is a split-face male out of Kelly Meeks-Childs' Angus of Willowall daughter, CH Childs Play Fat Lady Singin' aka Buffy. Buffy has produced superior pups litter after litter. I had always wanted a Buffy son and, this time, Kelly decided to make a cross that I knew would work well with my girls. Needless to say, I did not fail to speak right up for the pick male; especially knowing that this would be Buffy’s final litter. Sid's sire, Chestnut Ridge Son Of A Gun, is solidly JRTCA working bred on both sides of his pedigree. It is the type of pedigree we were looking for in an outcross male for our girls, and he exudes confidence. His tail is never down.
Sid has it all in breed type and structure. His front is fabulous with a long laid back shoulder and upper arm. His bend of stifle rivals the best, his topline is strong and straight and his chest is awesome. While Sid has a lot of growing up to do before he makes his debut it is apparent that he has the structure and the attitude required for a top show dog and more importantly an influencial sire. Watch for Childs Play Side By Side in late 2007 and early 2008. We're excited about this puppy and all the wonderful attributes his pedigree brings to Emerald Fox. |
