Spencer began his show career in Raleigh in the spring 2007 for his first point. Less than month later at the Columbia Terrier Association Terrier Specialty in Columbia, MD, Spencer was Best In Sweeps Junior and Best in Sweeps Senior as well as BOS under Mrs. Jane T. Fowler; and in the regular classes Spencer went WD and BW for his first 5 point major under judge Mrs. Judith A. Franklin. The following weekend Spencer went WD and BOS at Chesapeake, VA under breeder judge Ms. Christine Johnson; and a month later in Hampton, VA he went WD for a second time under Mrs. Judith Franklin. In Richmond, VA on June 24, 2007, Spencer took another 5 point major under Judge Robert Forsythe going WD/BW and BOB leaving only 1 point to finish his championship. At the Spartanburg Kennel Club show in Greenville, SC on July 29, 2007, Spencer completed his championship with a third major under Mrs. Lydia Coleman Hutchinson. Spencer has joined the ranks of the exceptional quality small working size Parson males to finish his championship. At only 12 1/4 inches CH Emerald Fox Spitting Image followed in his sire's paw prints proving once again that a small Parson of exceptional quality can easily compete in any competition.
